"I have dealt with Ray on numerous occasions of late and I'm extremely pleased with the work he has done for myself and my company CKS Mechanical. I was referred to Ray by a mutual friend when I was approached by a local company to buy my business. He has been more than helpful. He has guided me through the process of selling my business and has been very attentive to my needs and the buyers needs. He always answers our questions with thorough and timely responses. Ray is a very patient man with me because of my lack of knowledge in this process. His expertise is invaluable and unmatched. This man knows his stuff! I'm confident in his ability to get my deal done and get me the best results. I am going to refer Ray to anyone who finds themselves in my positions. He also sends weekly training and informative emails on growing a healthy business. Thanks Ray for all you do."
"My wife and I have known Ray for almost ten years. During those years, Ray has managed our finances helping us move from being employed and investing in our savings to moving into retirement and now finding ways to continue to earn money and live comfortably off the money we have saved and invested.
Ray has been more than just a financial advisor. Over the years Ray has become a friend and has always looked after our best interests first. We are not your typical investor and we didn't want to watch the market and worry about the ups and downs of the market volatility. Ray was able to design a successful plan for us which allows us to sleep at night without worrying. One things that stands out with Ray that I have not found with any other advisors we worked with over the years is that he responds quickly. We call, email or text and he responds the same day if not the same hour and addresses our question/concern. When the market dropped suddenly at the beginning of the pandemic Ray reached out to us and asked us how we were feeling. That was very reassuring.
If you are looking for someone who will listen to your wants and needs and design a turnkey plan that will be successful, then I strongly suggest Ray and his company!"

"I have known Ray Croff for over 10 years. He has managed my husband and my investments during that time. When I wanted to consider purchasing a business, he was the first person I reached out to.
I had many questions, first and foremost can I afford it, how do I know I am getting my moneys worth and how does this process work?
He and I discussed the process of placing an offer for a business. He began mapping the steps of an offer to closing. He did a valuation on the company for sale and discussed thoroughly the results. Without his in-depth knowledge of all the key factors to evaluate in a business, I would have gone off my general knowledge. In retrospect, it was very little and not the key factors.
When we discussed he being the broker for the buyer, I was hesitant. It seemed like a lot of money off the top and I wasn't sure I needed it. How completely wrong I was. Within the first week, I had already determined I was over my head. He translated terms in English for me, assisted communication with the seller, lender, landlord and many others over the months. Many times, I was ready to throw my hands up and walk away. He would encourage me that this is the process and everything is going as it does in these situations. He and I spoke to my business acquisition attorney together multiple times so I could understand exactly what was being asked of me and translate in their terms what I needed. He spent hours explaining terms, processes, reasoning and timelines to me during the 9 months it took to get to closing my business.
Even after closing, he is still involved. We are working on Key Performance Indicators, 401K set up and managing my investment. He is an integral part of my long term planning.
If I were to purchase another business, I would definitely want Ray on my team!! His wealth of knowledge is extremely valuable for financial and emotional well-being!"
I was referred to Ray Croff by my son, Brian, a partner with Sutton Frost Cary in Arlington, Texas, as I was looking for a recommendation for a reputable firm that could assist me in my desires to begin the process of an "Exit Plan" regarding my architectural practice in El Paso.
Brian explained to me that in working with Ray, he was impressed with his knowledge and professionalism in dealing with my son's clients. I was impressed immediately by his obvious expertise in the industry, and his prompt response to my initial request for a "meet and greet".
Ray is very professional, yet also can relate to the client on a very personal level, putting everyone at ease which in turn lends itself to a very productive exchange of information.
I really appreciate his ability to always respond promptly to any questions or concerns I have, and when he visited El Paso to meet with my management staff, all I heard was how pleasant he was to speak with and how everyone felt I had definitely had made the right decision in hiring Ray and his firm.

I have known Ray as a parishioner here at Immaculate Conception Church for many years. We served on our Finance Council together and on other projects. I turned to Ray to ask his advice on some financial issues related to the sale of our family business. Ray helped me make some decisions about how to invest my money, but he also asked how we were selling our business, how we were preparing everything we needed to sell it. In fact, we knew that we wanted to sell but had no real idea about the process to do that. There was a lot of family disharmony and distrust over how to sell. There had been a lot of heartache over the management of the business and grave questions of trust. Frankly, I did not want to expose Ray to all of this nor involve him in a very emotional conflict. I was anxious to get out of the business but did not want to see it totally lost, which had been in our family for more than 60 years.
Ray proved invaluable to this. I was able to get my siblings to agree to his help and he helped us get together our financials and other documents needed for the sale. Because we were selling the land separate from the business, it was a difficult sale and we had a very limited amount of time to do it. Ray was able to contact those who would be interested in the business and finally secured a buyer. He knew how to draw up the final papers and have everything done well. My siblings and I were very pleased with his work.
Most of all, he was able to navigate the troubled waters of a family business and bring us to resolution. I really trust what Ray can do for any business.
